I will post this as an answer if it works. I have reinstalled skyrim atleast 20 times and i delete my saves each time, its really not worth the hassle when the first 20 levels are the fun part anyway.:/ At the very least I can do the Civil War Mod from the start. I just tried starting a new game, I click New, then yes, the bethesda symbol dissapears, but I am stuck at the bit with the skyrim logo and mist. Honestly if you get to the point that your resorting to the save cleaner ( it does work sometimes) your save is a lost cause.

I will try disabling all the other mods I installed since it stopped working. I've followed the install instructions over here on how to install ENB and I'm using this preset (using the v0.2.xx version) and have followed their instructions to the letter. In short, I'm not lacking the power to be able to run it, I just can't get it to actually run.

I'm currently running on windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit, Geforce GTX 970 cards (SLi setup), an Intel i7-4790K CPU, and 16 GB Ram. I get to the menu, but when I try to load a save or start a new game it goes to the load screen, loads for a few seconds and then crashes. Press Menu on your controller and select Clear reserved space. Navigate to the right where the Saved Data is located and highlight Reserved Space. Press Menu on your controller and select Manage Game. Something else I read said that the flowing cape mod tends to make the game crash if you delete it and dont delete the. Highlight The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition from the Games category. what I've tried that didn't work -disable/delete mods/ran with no mods and ran the tes5 editor with no problems -load a different save, and when I start a new game it will crash after a minute or so -I've tried rein. Even with nothing but the vanilla files loaded it crashes. Do you have mods If so, try disabling all of them long enough to see if you can enter the castle without crashing. Every time I try to load a save on skyrim it will crash instantly to the desktop. Then I tried installing ENB and it crashes every time. I had the game running fine in complete vanilla mode, then proceeded to install the unofficial patches, SKSE and SkyUI, all of that worked fine. I'm new to using ENB's so it's possible I've done something wrong (or well, it's pretty likely since it keeps crashing Skyrim for me).
